We invite IPA members and advanced IPA candidates from the European Societies and Groups which don’t have the child and adolescent psychoanalytic training to apply for a special program to be launched by the CODECAP under the auspices of the EPI.
The Program would consist of the theoretical and clinical seminars, baby observation, with qualification requirements of psychoanalysis of two child/adolescent patients for two years with the frequency of 3-5 and individual weekly supervisions with IPA training child psychoanalysts.
The Program we are organizing should start in 2019 around the time of the EPF conference in Madrid (10th-14th of April 2019).
It would last for 4 years, from 2019 till 2023, containing 3 seminars a year for 2-4 days: 1) during the EPI Integration school, 2) during the EPF conference with the obligatory attendance of the EPF forum on child psychoanalysis, and 3) during the “Lilo’s school (named after the founder of the program Lilo Plashkes), during weekend in a European city. There will be some skype seminars in between.
The participants would be expected to participate at least in 70 % of seminars. Exceptions have to be discussed and compensated as agreed.
Conducting seminars during the EPI integration schools and the EPF conference could satisfy one of the purposes of the program which is the integration of the candidates into the international psychoanalytic community.
Payment: The teaching will be for free, candidates should pay for participating in the EPI integration school, EPF conference, and for their travel and accommodation expenses.
The deadline for the application is 30th September 2018.
